The decision or choices we make, the type of lifestyle we live and the things we prioritize have a direct bearing on how our future will look like and whether we would meet or achieve our dreams and aspirations.
An analogy is brought to the fore in the picture above, while it costs more to buy a pack of cigarette than a piece of building block, it is not a rare thing to see a lot of people preferring to spend on a pack of cigarette to the point of becoming dependent/addicted to it. The money invested in cigarette can be channeled into a more productive venture.
While one reduces a person’s life span and has a lot more health implications as health experts have revealed, the other investment ultimately leads to one having a home of his/her own and guarantees a secured future with peace of mind.
This is the start of a new week and a new month, let us all re-evaluate our priorities and see if we can cut down on some things or totally leave them in order to channel our time, energy and money into more productive, viable and profitable ventures. No one would enjoy the benefits other than we ourselves.
